The Planning Department is preparing the required environmental review for the forthcoming proposals related to improving Market Street into something hopefully the city can be proud of. The Better Market Street initiatives seek to enhance mobility ad reduce conflicts along Market Street, primarily by restricting private vehicle access, which is supported by the city’s long-standing Transit First Policy.
